As Milestone grows, so does our responsiveness and commitment, with the introduction of a new offering of services and infrastructure solutions and the establishment of a strong partnership with Qlik.
2014
Milestone kicks off activities in Peru and Switzerland. We win the PME Líder (SME Leader) award and are featured for the first time in Exame magazine’s Best Companies to Work For list; two distinctions that clearly reflect our culture as a company.
2015
The Talent area is created, and we add strategic and operational consulting services in tech-based team building to our offering.
2016
We broaden the scope of our technology consulting offering by creating new solutions and providing services in Infrastructures, Cloud and Security and establishing a partnership with Cisco.
2017
We introduce a new Permanent Placement offering, create a new Service Centre with NOC and SOC offerings, and deepen our expertise in Treasury and Enterprise Performance Management solutions.
2018
Innovations in the year include establishment of a partnership with Neptune to expand the development offering, creation of the Advanced Analytics Centre, and a brand refresh.
In October, Milestone is recognised as the 13th Best Company to Work For in Portugal, in the survey “100 Best Companies to Work For” conducted by Exame magazine.
2020
We establish a Google Cloud partnership and obtain Autodesk Service Provider Select status. We also open the Advanced Analytics Centre and launch the CAD and ECM Solutions offering.
Together we face COVID-19 and work as a virtual team for 365 days.

Running with purpose
Academia Jorge Pina
Combining the encouragement of physical activity among our employees and showing support and solidarity, we developed an app to count kilometres walked by everyone in 2019. At the end of the year, the accumulated total was converted into cash and donated to the Jorge Pina Academy: an Adapted Sports school that enables young people with disabilities to practise sports.
Income Tax Consignment Campaign
Associação Apoio à Vida
As part of our solidarity afternoons, we held a campaign to encourage employees to donate part of their income tax refund to the Apoio à Vida (Support for Life) association and its worthwhile project to help pregnant women in difficulty. This initiative brought creative and collaborative skills together for a solidarity campaign.
Employability Workshops
Comunidade Vida e Paz
Together with Comunidade Vida e Paz (Life and Peace Community), a charity organisation dedicated to the treatment, recovery and reintegration of homeless people, we held a workshop focused on CV improvement and sharing good practices for job interviews. An afternoon of solidarity that sought to boost employability and promote equal opportunities for job seekers helped by this institution.
